Viper Networks Provides Update on Colombo, Sri Lanka Pilot Project

Viper is pleased to announce the completion of its Apollo Smart Street Light pilot project in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The company implemented 108 slim line poles equipped with state of the art LED lighting along the Justice Akbar Mawatha Flyover and the flyover connecting Uttarananda Mawatha and the Justice Akbar Mawatha Flyover, providing substantial power efficiency and improving aesthetics.

Viper offers multiple pole designs, including the slim line, high strength, elegant poles depicted above. The strongest structures can exceed 30 meters in height and accommodate up to three tenant mobile network operators on a single pole and include a large base capable of housing carrier edge equipment. Future projects are likely to include multiple designs to suit the individual requirements of each application.

Viper will partner with municipalities, regional and national governments to provide a turn-key, standardized platform for future 5G and fiber projects.

With the recent acquisition of 1stPoint Communications, Viper can now provide neutral radio access networks, which can be made available instantly to mobile and fixed wireless operators, reducing the op-ex requirements for 5G and high speed Wi-Fi offload capabilities.

With qualified installation partners all over the globe, worldwide delivery capabilities and a 24×7 network operations center, Viper is poised to deliver projects on any continent. For further inquiries please contact info@vipernetworks.com via electronic mail.
